I trip to St. John every couple of years and I have always had a great meal on every visit. the food is always great and the staff is warm and friendly. I highly recommend at least one meal here during your stay on St. John

One of few family owned and staffed restaurant. I must say the food is certainly worth the wait. Served fresh all the way. Now I know why they have survived so long strictly local. The truth is some businesses around only depend on tourists and treat locals as if our service doesn't matter. Seaside Inn proves supporting local is the real deal, so I encourage all locals to dine in and enjoy the local music being played or call in your order and then pick up your meals.

They already charged me almost $3 for delivery including the med. size pizza when I called for the delivery. Delivery woman came & doesn't have change for the money. So, it's a $20 med. size pizza.

The Tamarind Reef Resort is much more personable than most of the other bigger resorts on STX. The rooms are single deep so you walk in the front of your room from the walk way and exit your room via sliding glass directly to the ocean view. Often I have woken and opened the blinds to large Iguana sun bathing on the large rocks separating the resort from the ocean, waves crashing. TRR is not all inclusive however has a nice restaurant along its East side with a large pool over looking two small islands, Green Cay and Buck Island, and also has its very own beach. Guests are welcome to snorkel or kayak and you can even kayak out to Green Cay island and snorkel. I have seen many large sea turtles directly off the resort beach. Tamarind Reef is directly connected to Green Cay Marina as well so you often meet other vacationers or sailers stopping through from long excursions. If you are looking for a quiet, romantic, and safe place to stay on STX the TRR is just what you are looking for.
