The opening of Carnival will take place on December 26, 2013 and will conclude on January 5, 2014. The Carnival Village is the heart of the Crucian Christmas activities and it will include dozens of booths where food and drinks are sold and enjoyed. Throughout these 11 nights you will be entertained by local and international artists of soca, calypso, reggae and more. Alongside the booths will be a Coney Island with rides and game booths for both children and adults.

Meet at ‘Freedom Statue’ across from Frederiksted Pier for 1 of 2 Crucian Heritage and Nature Tourism (CHANT) tours: Take a 2 ½ hour guided walking tour of historic Frederikstd, $15. pp OR head off on a 4-hour moderate to strenuous hike that includes the history of the Maroons, the flora & fauna of the area & history of the Light House at Ham’s Bluff. $75 pp includes round-trip transportation from the Frederiksted Pier.
